Stakkato Gold
This spectacular Hanoverian Premium Stallion was the "Best Jumper Stallion of the Year 2003" at his approval in Verden. In 2004, at his 30 day test, he he received the ideal score of 10.0 for his jumping ability. In conjunction with excellent rideability (8.52), he achieved the rarely given final grade of 9.33 in jumping! In his first show season in 2004, he won and placed in tests for young jumpers up to elementary level. As far as his traits as a sire are concerned, his first foal crop beat expectations by far. They all corresponded to the ideal of a modern day riding horse as far as type, long legs and expression were concerned. In 1998, with Eva Bitter in the saddle, his sire Stakkato astounded horsemen at the Bundeschampionat for German jumpers by receiving 9.9, a score never given before. Meanwhile he has collected ribbons in international Grand Prix and Nations Cups. As a sire he effectively passes on his ability to jump and in 2005 (with 170 points) he led the FN breeding value statistics for jumper sires for the fourth time in a row. His son, Sammy Mad Jo, became the Bundeschampion of 6 year old jumpers in 2005. Stakkato Gold also has an elite pedigree on his dam's side as well: the tried and true, all-round sire, Werther, follows the successful international jumper sire (Achill-) Libero H and the famous sire of Contender, Calypso II, rounds off this top pedigree
