Ludwig Von Bayern
Large-framed muscle man with powerful move-off and marvellous canter. Jumps sensationally with ideal technique and endless potential.
He passed his 30 day test with flying colours and top scores for rideability (10.0) and loose jumping (9.5). But also under the rider he performs fantastic jumps, and was able to qualify for the 2004 German Showjumper Championship in Warendorf. Unfortunately, he could not participate in this test due to injury.
His dam is a full-sister of the Bavarian private sire Lanacar, and has a threefold Ladykiller xx influence in the first generations. His performance ability was ensured by the Westphalian top sires Pilot and Damokles in his damline.
This bloodline moreover brought forth such well known stallions as Donadoni, Iroki (NL), Pinoccio, Graf Aramis, and the successful international showjumper Aramis/Franke Sloothaak. Ludwig von Bayern is one of the six selected stallions out of 66 contenders who were approved at the first approval of the new Showjumper Breeding Association Oldenburg International.
A very good and extremely well moving foal age class brought him a 1c premium at the 2003 Oldenburg Stallion Approval in Vechta, and one of his fillies won the 2004 qualification for the German Foal Championship in Lastrup.
